Inspired by the stories of my grandfather, rainwater and ashes are collected to make handmade soap the way my great grandmother Minerva Fitzpatrick, made soap. Aromatic plants and oils are used, resulting in different scents. In the first iteration, participants smell the soap cakes and choose their favorite. I explain the story of my grandfather and cut the soap, package their piece  in a dissolvable envelope which they may take away. In the second iteration, participants help themselves.
